New Battery...

I just replaced the battery on my SH, and now its dead again. I am starting to think its the Stator. What do you guys think?

It's more likely the R/R. Superhawk stators don't go bad very often. You'll need to run some tests though, as there is no other way to know for sure what's going on.

R/R was replaced already.

I did have an accident almost two years ago, and it went down on the Stator Cover.

R/R was replaced with what? Unless it is a mosfet type, it could have died again, and if it is a direct plug replacement it probably did die again.

To test the stator, unplug the R/R and check the ohms between each of the yellow wires and to ground. There should be no connection to ground at any of them, and between each should be a small amount of ohms that is similar between all 3 wires. (no exact # here, just a low number) If this passes, your R/R fried again.

best idea is to do some testing with a volt meter.

An R6 R/R.

Ok, here is an update: when the bike gets hot, it has a tough time starting, if it even starts. But when it cools off, it cranks up like no other.
