Yes, 2 mm+- is what i remember when I first looked at it when i took the valve cover off. I rotated the cam a tooth to see what it would be and was a big difference, if your a tooth off you'll see it really easy. With the new chains things lined up better.

Ah, nice to know. Same thing here, one tooth is way off. I'll have to consider to change chains.

Yes, I did it. It was a little tedious but not too bad. I have air tools, an impact gun makes all the difference in the world for removing and installing the primary nuts on the clutch basket, primary gear, and flywheel. You'll need a flywheel puller too, basically a 22mm bolt. Change the water and oil pump chains while your in there. Engine ran the same, just dont hear the chain slap anymore.
