Re: honda cbrf3 forks

Of course you can make anything work with the right amount of engineering, fabrication and money. I don't think it is an easy swap either. I do know from first hand experience that a 929/954 front end swap will work and you get that cool inverted fork look PLUS enhance front end compliance! The only thing you would need is an entire 929/954 front end; sans the controls because you need the 'Hawks controls, new clip-ons with a minimum 1.5 in extra rise, CycleCat makes some for the 929 which work very well and possibly a steering damper. It's pretty trick. As far as the shock, why? It's crap, you'd need to retune it for the 'Hawk different mass anyhow, so get a RC51 shock send it to a reputable company like Lindemann Engineering and have them rework it to fit your Super Hawk. Cheaper that purchasing a new Ohlins/Penske/WP/whatever shock or messing wtih that one as Fox has stopped making shock for road motorcycles.
