Does anyone know what this plug is for? It was under the seat near the battery. It has pink tip-ties around the wires. It is a 3 prong plug. pictures attached

 

If it was 3 yellow wires it was the stator wires that fed the wire harness,they probably bypassed the burnt plug.Mine did the same thing.

 

Definitely stator. This is an alternator (so to speak) for your bike. It puts out charge voltage that is directed to your regulator/rectifier. If you or someone else eliminated that plug, be very sure the wire connection is done very well. If not, it can create arcing and fire and death...

 

Was setting up roverguage onto my vehicle. Functioning admirably I gotta say Yet while attempting to find the right fitting I staggered onto this attachment with some circle in it. It gives off an impression of being interfacing 2 dark wires together. Earth I accept.
