Help I have wheels from??

O.K flebay strikes again! About 6 months ago I bought chrome rims off Ebay, add said: "chromed rims from 99 superhawk never mounted". I received them looked them over for damage and set them aside. this weekend I decided to mount them... Well there NOT superhawk rims. Both rims use larger bearings, the front needs rotors with a larger center hole and I think the rotor bolt pattern is slightly larger. Also the rear needs a 6 bolt rotor. These are just the differences that became apparent with a fairly quick second look.

The real problem here is of the thousands of bikes out there, all I know is they are not superhawk wheels. They have the same appearance as stock wheels, but all the casting identifications where ground off to prep for chrome. Looking for help to identify what they came from. Then I can see if mounting is possible, or at least sell them to someone who can use them. Thanks guys, any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Pictures would probably help.

I bet they are for a VTR1000 SP1\SP2 or a RC51
Well I guess I should read your whole post. If they have 3 spokes then maybe 954 or 1000 wheels

I also thought SP1/SP2 or RC51, but yes they have three spokes, 954 or 1000 are possible. how would I check they did not come with bearings or spacers, all I have is bare rims with no casting marks.

I assume the seller is not accepting returns?

Hawk NT650's have 3 spoke wheels. If I saw the pics, I could tell. JB

After hours looking for a Honda rear rim with a six bolt rotor, I found CBR1100xx looks the same. Anyone know how to verify this. If that is what they are, anyone know if they could work on a superhawk?

As far as the 97-98 CBR1100XX goes, the front wheel is a drect swap to the VTR, the rear wheel however has a much larger and wider hub and will not work on the VTR.

Do they have part numbers stamped someplace? I thought they do... If so, check servicehonda's part # reference?

The rear hub does look big and wide, but the front does not swap either. Maybe a newer 1100xx? All casting #s where ground off to prep for chrome.
