So I just had to replace a donut gasket in my exhaust just past the rear head tube. I had a clamp on hand but geesh I just priced out a new one and its $40 for a freakin CLAMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can anyone point me toward a cheaper alternative? I just wont be able to live with myself if I ever pay $40 for a muffler clamp.

The part number is 18376-413-000 but I dont know the outer diameter of the pipe or ID of the clamp

 

There shold be a number stamped into the band of the clamp, either a size or a range.
I actually found replacements for mine at my local ACE hardware.
They have a good selection of SS bolt style clamps.

 

So I found these. I find it imperative with this bike to keep these clamps, the fiber sealing donuts, and brake pads on hand at all times since they would all stop me from riding and its my daily commuter.

 

How terrible do vault ribs hurt stream for a hybrid? Is this some place that it is totally important that I run V-band clips? And 3 bolt spines? I'm simply attempting to save a couple of bucks, so in the event that its not worth me being modest then I'll utilize V-band clasps. I disdain burning through $100 on 2 associations. FWIW, Its simply a solitary super 351 lightning that won't ever make more than 500rwhp. Simply a pleasant road truck.
