Had to pull the choke when the engine was warm

Hello all,

a new VTR rider from Germany here. Got my bike a month ago and am very happy with it. And I'm glad I found this forum because I encountered my first problem with the bike.

A few hours ago I was standing at a traffic light and the bike suddenly stalled as soon as I turned the throttle. I tried it twice and pulled the choke afterwards, then the ride could continue again. The engine had already warmed up. I bought fuel cleaner and hope that helps.

Has anyone here had this problem before?

Thanks

P.S. Feel free to correct my broken English

Welcome to the forum.
It's possible that the petcock diaphragm has failed. Pulling the "choke" added more fuel. Could be some other restriction in fuel delivery.
