FYI, the admin is related to the no-mar line of changers.

I have the HF bottom part of the unit to break the beads. I then use two tire irons and soapy water to do the rest. If I feel like not scratching the rims, I use slips of plastic cut from old milk jugs between the rim and the tire irons. Don't laff, it works! OK, go ahead...... I mounted it on a large wooden pallet so it's sturdy yet moveable.

I haven't paid for a tire swap in 6 years and usually go through at least 2 sets a year. Ka-ching!!! $$$

HF TireChanger with MC adapter. Rubber coated Tire mount on HF changer and i bought a no-Mar Mount/Dismount tool to prevent scratching the wheels.

Works fantastic and i never scratch a well.

I can dismount and mount a tire in 2 to 4 minutes once it is safely clamped down in the rubber coated mounts. I just bought some of the rubber tool dip stuff and coated and dipped the HF metal mounts. The no-mar bar has nylon tips and will not scratch the wheel. The bar comes with a Fantastic dvd that explains how to use the tool and quickly change a tire. It also comes with a spray on solution and a mounting paste that make the rubber just slide right on the wheel.

Reaper: Well that was a fast response and I think I'm convinced. I guess if we are doing our own changes and I get another crappy tire that I think I am going to crash on, I'll be able to swap it out before I crash! Hindsight is 20/20.

Yeah, I was reading some of the links in ******* thread about changing tyres, 18 down from the top and it is pretty straight forward.

I will check out HF tomorrow and let you know.
