Decent power source at the front of the bike?

Im going to fit Hot Grips and a couple of other things so need a power supply at the front of the bike. Is there anything good to tap off?

I can run a new line if needed and some kind of block for feeds to come off but something already there would be handy.

Nothing there already lends itself to powering hot grips.

You want a switched source.. so use a relay with trigger source from say the tail light, and power from the battery...

Or buy one of these FUZEBLOCKS.COM

Having installed three of these now,, and seen them used for more than a year in cross continent road trips.... Im convinced this is a great option for anyone needed fused, selectable switched or unswitched power in the 1-10 amp range

Eastern beaver is not a bad deal.. Ive used his PC8 a few times..
But it's more expensive than the FZ-1 I linked to.

PC-8 has to get shipped from japan to end user (more$ and longer lead time)
And in use, is no better than the FZ-1 based on my install and use of both.

The PC8 does have the advantage of coming partially pre wired with quality stuff. And no doubt Jim makes very nice stuff.

Presuming the OP from his usename is from New Zealand then whatever he chooses has to be shipped either from US or Japan unless he can source something locally.

I received my EB kit here in UK in just over week. Yes there were extra taxes on it but the same would apply if I bought from US - NZ might be different.
