Is this claim for real?

On E-bay, a vendor is offering a 520 conversion kit for $139 and among other claims, states the speedometers accuracy will improve from 10% to a 2% margin of error! Has anybody heard of this and can verify the validity of the claim?

I don't call 'em SCUM of all parts for no reason. Look again at the auction and see they are now selling under another name. Why?

BeerHunter is an unknown quantity at this point
The claim of speedo error being improved is one of the few problems with that seller's "advertising". In fact, the exact opposite will happen! I knew the facts before buying the kit, and had no problems at all. This was probably 3 years ago.

okay, I get the false claim bit. But how about the price and quality of the kit. Will the 520 kit handle the SH power? Does it wear out too quick?I ask becuase I'm looking for a chain and sprocket replacement at the moment. I might be selling soon too so I'm not looking to spend an arm and a leg but I also don't want to put some one else's life in danger.

Thanks for any response.

I upgraded to the hard coated sprokets but it's held fine on the bike through full race use, but I clean and lube the chain about every 500 miles

His speedo claim might not be accurate... however the products are legit. i ordered the 520 kit with the black coated rear sprocket. i've had no problems with it so far and i ride it pretty hard. its probably the cheapest place the get a kit... plus if you call him you can customize your order with colored chains and sprockets.
