What the Hell? How can you adjust to 30 to 40 millimeters of free play when halfway btwn the sprockets, the chain slaps up against the plastic slider/swingarm protector at about 30 millimeters which prevents you from determining how many more millimeters it would go? Also when replacing my chain today I noticed a small wear mark on the bottom of the housing around the countershaft sprocket, where it appears the chain has on occasion slapped the case. I assume this was probably caused by too loose a chain and doubt it has happened since I've owned the bike, but has anyone else seen this?

 

I guess I must be confused - everybody here opted for the shaft drive version
