caliper mounting

I know this has been covered off somewhere else - saw the damn thread yesterday and now can't find it!!

Anyhow - what is the distance between the centre of the holes on the mounting lugs of front calipers.

I have seen a sweet pair of calipers for sale and want to make sure they fit before I purchase - oh they are soooo sweet.

Anything else I need to consider before buying?

As always thanks in advance

Just found it - circa 2.5 inches (thanks superbling) - is this middle of hole or edge of lug?

The calipers are billet - do I need to worry about rotor size?

Anything else?

Middle to middle. Yup, rotor size does matter. You can get by with a little difference. Also, don't forget about caliper mounting position. Are they more vertical or are they angled out towards a more horizontal orientation (make sense?). That could matter too.

I have always heard that size doesn't matter, it's all about how you use your tools...
