Amps at rest
Anyone have two minutes and want to double check a number I'm reading? Using your ammeter set at the 2000u amp scale, what reading do you see when you measure across the odometer fuse? Measure this with the key in your pocket. I'm reading 450 with the bike at rest.
I found this because I was looking for a current leak on my bike that would leave my battery almost dead if the bike sits unused for 3 days. I suspect this 450 draw on the odo. circuit is normal and not the root of my problem. It likely has more to do with a pooched battery than anything else, but I found this slow current draw curious. Are we all the same?
BTW, don't ask me what fraction of an ampere 1u is???
