929 wheel on rc51 sp1 front end

ok so thats about it ive got a 929 front wheel coming and a rc51 sp1 frontend what mods do i need to do to get that wheel to fit with the 929 rotors

You'll definitley need to swap the bearings out... I think 929's are 25mm... the RC's are stupid 22mm (I say stupid because every standard bearing kit remover comes with 20mm and 25mm "removers"... of course the RC has to be difficult.)

I'd guess if the rotors bolt up in the right spot, the bearings should be all you need... maybe some spacers at worst.

I think that the 929 uses larger rotors (330 mm vs 320 on the RC)

Whoops.... Yeah, I missed that... (monday mind thing).... the rotors are larger... I though you were using RC rotors on the 929 wheel.... I'd bolt it up and see where everything nets out.... might be close.

You could have new caliper brackets made.. but it's much cheaper to buy a set of rotors... most go in the 100 dollar range used for a set.
