Tall size riders and gear???

I did a quick search on here about tall riding gear and came across another thread about how tall some of you guys are. I am 6'4" and am having problems finding a nice jacket that fits correctly.

Question to you 6'3" + riders; What do you wear and where did you get it?

What sizes should I look into? Finding the waist size is not hard but finding a jacket that covers my torso and arms correctly has been more difficult in the shops I have been in.

Any and all advice appreciated!

I'm 6'5", I wear a Yoshimura mesh codura jacket with feildgear pants, the jackets a little short in the large but still pretty wide, the pants are an XL and i'm swimming in them. I got this all off bikebandit for under 200 shipped.

I would suggest that you go with Touring jackets, Like the Beemer guys wear.. They are cut much longer in the torso than common street leathers. You might not look as cool, but you will have all of your skin covered!

Joe Rocket makes tall size riding gear. It is not available in all colors, generally just black. Cortech I think makes some tall size gear also.

I use a shift leather jacket and I just bought an icon field armor vest that I absoluty love. I'm 6'5" 250 and the jacket fits nicely once broken in

My Joe Rocket SuperHawk jacket is a size 48, and the had larger sizes yet. I ordered it through my Honda dealer. I'm 6'3" and 215#.

Has anyone just done the ICON vest and wore it over/under normal clothes? There is a guy out here where I work that has an XL ICON vest left over from a group buy and I could probably get it cheap.

They custom make the gear to fit your measurements.
Go with the 2 piece "roadcrafter" suit, or the 2 peice "darrien" jacket/pants. You'll be good to go in any weather on any bike.
