Boots and frustration

I can't seem to find a good set of race or sport oriented boots in size 15...

Combat boots doesn't make me feel safe. I'd like something that will protect better. Anyone have any suggestions?

I understand. My friend I used to work with everyday had size 14's and whenever we'd be goofing off in stores I'd see how normal street shoes seem to go up to 13 and he was always out of luck. He'd really have to search. Have you tried contacting places like alpinestars, etc and asking? I've had a pair of boots from them for years and have had them repaired twice for free, so I can say their service, at least from the folks I've dealt with, is excellent.

Also search around on ebay. Lightly used gear can be a real bargain, plus there's also plenty of new stuff as well. A quick search of "alpinestars 15" shows a s-load of motocross boots, so I'm sure if you took a little time you could find some street/roadracing boots to fit you. Mind you I always try stuff like that on in person before I buy it off ebay so I know it'll fit. Unfortunately you may not have that luxury...

Try just searcing "boots 15" on ebay motors. It's alot of motocross but there are some street boots too. Again it may be a pain if you can't try something on first though.

Frank Thomas and Fieldsheer both make boots up to size 15.

I've worn a set of the Classic Clubman for a number of years. They work well
