Biker?
Biker?
I know on this board I don't have to say anything. But really are you more true to your love of motorcycles if you bought the "right" brand. I live in Milwaukee so I get to see this crap every day. I've ridden Hondas and Yamahas for the last 20 years. I've never ridden a Harley, but I would. I'd ride a Ducati, BMW, or anything else all the same. Everything has it's own charm. I love 70's and 80's japanese bikes. I love old english bikes. I'm just sick of the judgement. That's why this is left in the RANT section. If I sold my hawk tomorrow and bought a Harley it wouldn't change what I love. Rant off...too many locals today I guess.
P.S. **** you for killing Buell.
P.S.S. Tomorrow morning my bike will be parked next to two Harleys, a BMW, a Suzuki, and a Yamaha, and not one of us cares.

Yup... nothing says "I'm a REAL biker" like dropping $20k on yesterdays technology right? I Think it's funny that as soon as HD drops Buell, Buell finally makes a bike that I would want to buy.

The Baracudda II.
It wasn't bad news to me that the bikes got crushed and that HD dropped Buell. I was just glad to see that Buell could actually design something I wanted/liked, and they sure as hell weren't going to be able to do it on HD's watch.
If it's taken care of and done tastefully I could really care what the name on the bike or car is. And yeah I read the Cycle World article about Buell and yes, although I've always loved Harleys it did make me love them, or at least the ******* suits who didn't even grow up riding, a bit less. **** them, per what I read in a year Eric Buell's non compete agreement is void, and he can build whatever he wants, thankfully WITHOUT any of Harley's influence. Again I love their bikes, but their influence really has no place with Eric's designs. And if they're so bent on not being a little more open minded and want to sit and watch their demographic (along with their sales) get smaller and smaller, what can I do about it? I'll feel bad for the working class employees that get laid off. Several local Bruce Rossmeyer Harley dealers near me have already or will be closing. Not good for Harley...

I don't give a rats *** what ya ride, just ride fer chrissake. I have two custom V-twins in the stable, not a single H-D Part on 'em. **** the factory, they have forgotten the people who made 'em, now their "new" friends can float 'em.
