Beware Of This E Bay Seller

Back on the 25Th January I ordered some mirrors from a company called Carcamworld2.

They took my money via Pay Pal and all seemed well. As the freight was free they don't provide tracking numbers and will only deliver to a home address.

they claim to have sent the item twice and I still don't have it.

The excuse used was that there was some sort of holiday in China and that is why it was taking so long to get my mirrors.

I sent a few E Mails to them and they gave standard placating answers and promised to ship the items again.

That never happened and then they offered me a refund. I said that I wanted the parts and now they don't respond to my messages.

EBay can't/ won't help as it is now over 1 month since I bought the items.

I intend to warn everyone on the 11 different forums I am involved with and make sure that everyone knows not to deal with Carcamworld2 as that take your money and don't give you what you paid for.

Now it is the 3rd of April and I still don't have what I paid for and am dealing with a company that ignores my questions.

This experience would have to rate as the worst ever in regards to E Bay and one of their sellers.

Money taken, no parts and most frustratingly no answers or communication.

Don't buy anything from Carcamworld2 , You will be sorry if you do.

These people are Rip Off merchants! and are not to be trusted.

Over the years I have been buying from E Bay I have never had such a bad experience.

I have to ask, why did you not take the refund that they offered and shop elsewhere?

What does PayPal have to say about it ? I think you have 6 months to file a complaint.
Don't let this go man, that's exactly what they want. From personal experience, the more you nag everyday, the better chances you have of coming out of this winning. Time consuming I know, but, worth it I'm sure.

The reason that I didn't take the refund is because I want the mirrors that they sell.

I am going to keep harassing them for as long as it takes.

I can't abide by their attitude. They think that I will go away and they are soooooo wrong.

I can't let them get away with this. Every forum that I am on will here about it.

I will send them links to my posts.

At the end of the day I want what I paid for and I have been deceived.

I enjoy a good stouch!

Just remember Carcamworld2 and beware if you do business with them.

I would bet that you will get them........eventually.

I buy from a few China/Hong Kong sellers. Some are fast, like a week. Some are 5-6weeks.

Some of the fast ones turn slow when they outgrow themselves. Eachbuyer is one of those. They got huge and just cant keep up with demand.

Other good ones are tmart and aliexpress.

I went through the same hassle with eachbuyer. I sent them order numbers & then they smokescreen you by asking for item #s.

Oh yeah and they take those Chinese holidays seriously, but try getting anything shipped to you in the US new a big holiday.

I bet the stuff will get there but for me I woulda taken the refund right away. You cant find the mirrors elsewhere? I'm sure they are around, can you post a link?

All those container ships parked offshore while our ports were dealing with a labor dispute might have something to do with the delay on your mirrors...not taking sides or making excuses but I know that basically EVERYTHING coming over from Europe and Asia has been delayed to some extent , unless of course they are flyin' it in on a jet.

That may be the case, however some communication would be good.

Remember I ordered and paid for these parts on 25th January.

My biggest problem is that they do not communicate, and now they are closed until the 7Th April.

I will keep on bombarding them with messages and maybe they will realise that I am not going away.

If I owned this company I would be looking at customers feedback and making sure that customers are happy.

Maybe they are so big that customers do not matter.
I sure as heck am going to keep spreading the word about their shocking attitude and service.

OK like we as a nation have got to stop buying cheap stuff from China. I understand we see a inexpensive price and what looks like a good product, until it gets here if it gets here and the disappointment starts. I have found that there are a rare few reputable seller with a quality product coming out of China. Realistically I know even when we buy from American retailers many of these products come from China, but at least we have an American retailer subject to local law to stand behind the purchase.

Sent more E Mails today and got the generic one back asking me to change my negative feed back on Flea Bay!

Fat chance of that happening.

Not a fan of Flea Bay, nor China vendors.

Not sure if Oz has Amazon, but IMO, a better route.

I have advised them that I am spreading the word in my last E Mail.

I also said that I would take a refund of $200- for all the hassle they have given me.

I also advised them that I am not going away.

I am starting to enjoy this and won't give up until I get the mirrors or a reasonable refund.

Fun Fun Fun!

Was able to lodge a case with E Bay,

Funny how I got a quick reply when I did that even though they ignored approx 20 messages sent in the mean time.

They are still offering a refund and say that they will still ship the parts and that I can pay them when I get them.

Searched E Bay and their shop Carcamworld and the parts are no longer on these sites so I am guessing they can't supply and just want to get rid of me.

They indicated early on in the saga that they had sent the parts twice.

Lying little foreign people who treat their customers with much contempt.

I have been looking at their negative feedback and I am not the only one to be treated like this.

I will keep pursuing them until they tell me the truth.

As far as a refund goes I couldn't care less, what I do care about is that a supposed reputable E Bay seller can get away with stuff like this.

Will keep you posted on developments.

Still having fun with this lot.

Numerous E Mails and many generic replies.

One of them even says that they have lost on this transaction.

They keep offering a refund, and I keep saying I want what I paid for.

I don't believe that they could/ can supply , however. they still took my money!

Really bad service, the worst I have ever experienced from an E Bay seller.

Their customer relations leaves a lot to be desired.

News Flash!

Got a reply today that wasn't a generic one.

Can you believe that they are asking how to resolve the problem?

I have told the about 30 times that I want what I paid for.

They have ticked me off now.

Interesting to note that when I do a google search on Carcamworld my post about them on the Ozfirestorm site comes up.

Time to ramp things up a bit more, and spread the word further.

I think that they might be getting the idea that I'm not going away.

Maybe its time to let it go. Couldn't all this energy be directed to do something positive in your life?

Hate in your heart will destroy you too.

Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and hoping it kills someone else.

You still don't have the mirrors right? Post a pic of them up, they are bound to be available elsewhere.

There is no hate here mate.

There is a genuine disgust at how they have treated me.

I know I can get the mirrors elsewhere.

These guys are huge and obviously have a bad attitude.

An attitude that says we can do and get away with whatever we like.

Fortunately I am not a quitter and will continue to pursue this to the end.

Either I get what I paid for, or I get compensated for all the drama.

Hopefully you'll get this resolved. I've had good and bad experiences ordering from China but I prefer to pay more for the same item stateside. I get the item more timely and can track it far better. But just a warning Ebay has some draconian rules and regulations. I've seen buyers banned for harassing sellers. I've had to do it myself. A buyer kept harassing me about not receiving an item. So after 10 or so emails and I saw it wasn't going to be resolved I involved Ebay. I sent them all the emails he'd sent me, I sent them the signature/delivery confirmation of the item and within a day or 2 the guy's account vanished. I would say take the refund and order it from another seller but I've found out most of the Chinese sellers of the same items are interlinked.

Well,

I have sent numerous E Mails and am now at a situation where these guys either have to ship the part or admit that they can't supply.

They intimated to me that the mirrors would take a while to get here and I told them that it would be O.K to re ship them as long as they advised me via the messaging on the resolution centre when they did ship them as time was no longer relative to me as I had already waited so long.

I also advised again that a refund was not necessary as I would wait for the parts I had paid for if they can provide shipping details.

There can only be a couple of possible answers to situation.

1- They advise the date that they ship the mirrors

2- They advise that they can't or don't want to and would prefer to refund me!

3- I will get another generic message because their conflict resolution model has run out of steam and can't come up with a solution.

If the latter is the case I will take things further.

I have all the details of this fiasco and can't help but wonder how much Carcamworld has profited by conducting business in this fashion. They have had my money since the 25Th Of January!

From my perspective it is an atrocious situation that should not be allowed to happen on E Bay or anywhere for that matter.

If this happened to me here in Oz I would of lodged a complaint with Fair Trading, had a meeting with a representative of Carcamworld with a mediator present and hopefully resolved the situation amicably.

I would of thought that someone in the E Bay Resolution Centre had viewed the complaint and subsequent correspondence between me and Carcamworld the seller and smelt a rat so to speak.

We'll see what happens, and don't worry I will keep you informed!

Well,

Now these folks are back to saying that they will ship the parts however they can't supply any shipping information.

I still think that they can't supply as the parts have disappeared from their site.

Time to contact E Bay direct.

Update,

I have asked the direct question" Can you supply"

This question has been avoided.

The latest feeble response is, Close the E Bay case and then we will ship the parts, they won't supply any shipping information and as it is now over 3 months what chance do I have of ever getting the mirrors that I want?

If I close the case they will be off the hook and it is my guess that they would offer a refund again.

These people are despicable in the way that they treat customers.

I have E Mailed E Bay direct to try and get some answers and to date have heard nothing.

I don't believe that CARCAMWORLD could ever supply in the first place! but that did not stop them from taking my money.

Avoid CARCAMWORLD at all costs.

Update,

Now they are saying that they are going to ship the parts!

I have informed them that I will not close the case until I get the parts.

I have given them 3 weeks and 1 day.

Wait and see I guess.

What a farce!
