it's no better in canada. here is the new brunswick provincial government committing fraud. basically they fabricated home renovations to jack up property values in order to collect more property taxes. this is literally fraud yet nobody will be held accountable.

Unbelievable! And Dan Kyle is getting what's unfortunately for him due.

Whereas my village keeps saying that our property taxes have not been increased in 10 years, all the other state and county taxes have ballooned the total. Plus we have some of the highest state income taxes and local/state/county sales tax in the country (12.25%!!!) and IL has the worst credit rating and no state budget for 3 years. The Chicago schools are so far in dept they'll have to declare bankruptcy like our wonderful billionaire governor is pushing for, along with other things simply so he can oust the Dem majority, including holding the state budget hostage. Incredible!

 

The IRS basically has a license to steal. And to they're credit at least they're honest about that fact when you call them. They've all but told me that flat out with no shame whatsoever. Some of the conversations I've had with them in the past would absolutely blow your mind...
