Who Can Tell Me What Jet Kit This Is

3 Attachment(s)
I pulled this kit out of my bike and installed a FP jet kit and I was wondering who the manufacturer is for the kit. Any ideas?

For some reason I can't open your pics here at work. Maybe when I get home I can veiw them.

The needles have 6 grooves, and if it is a DynoJet kit where would the carbs have been drilled? And what exactly am I looking for?

Thanks.

were the springs for the piston slides short or the long factory ones??
Are there the same amout of lift holes in the front and rear slides??

They would be drilled on the slides (so you would end up with a total of three holes on the end of the slide) where the needle comes out and the springs would be shorter than the stock ones.

Look on the slides for 4 holes. Stock is 3 I believe, I pulled the same kit outta my carbs & I have a shortened spring as well.

I did not see any holes drilled in the piston slide and the springs looked like they were fairly long. Not having the stock springs to compare, I am not really sure.

The good thing is the bike responds much better than with the other kit in it.

Do the needles have a "SA" or I believe "SD" on the top by the last c-clip grove??

I think the easiest way to tell will be to read what is on the main jets. The pics are too small for me to see. Factory actually says "Factory". Dynojet comes in sizes divisible by 5. Stock will have a "K" for Keihin.

They do look like the set of Dynojet needles that I have. Of course I've never used a Factory Pro kit so I'm no help there. They are not HRC parts. So were the springs for the slides around 6" long or around 16" long? Also do you remember if the needle holder (the plastic part you had to pull out with the screw to get the needle out) had a hole through one of the four "ears" at the end of the holder?

The OEM springs are nearly 11 inches long. The Dynojet springs are about 5.5 inches.

Checked the main jets and no discernable markings the jet size is printed on the top of the screw. The springs were in the 11 " range and I did not look closely at the needle holder when I took it.

Well then I'm stumped.... Kind of sounds like someone put half a dynojet kit in it (the needles and jets without the springs or drilling the slides) but at least it runs good now.

Yes, now that a properly installed kit is in, it is running like it supposed to.
