hey there guys!
Can anyone help me out? I've just started to put my motor together ( VTR 1000F 2002 Model the motor is in a buggy ) and i would like to know where does this bottom hose off this diaphragm go??
Is it to do with emissions?? Can i get rid of it?? and put stop ends on the hoses??
I have the work shop Manuel for it but it does not tell me anything about the diaphragm!! The work shop Manuel has terrible detailed drawings.
Please help!!

Which hose are you talking about from those pictures?

the hose on the left pic that is coming from the bottom of the diaphragm.
if the pic is not clear enough ill take another shot for you.

Connects to the underside of the airbox.

It doesn't connect to the under side of the air box, the pic i am showing now
the lower diaphragm is a pulse secondary air injection control valve that connects to the under side of the air box, not the one i've been talking about. The above diaphragm is evaporative emissions control valve.
But that bottom hose off the evap valve has got me baffled where it goes!!

look up the PAIR removal stuff - there should be a how-to on doing it and you can dump all of that. Makes carb removal/adjustments much simpler too
