TPS mod

Who has tried the TPS mod and what was the outcome? My 99 Storm runs fine now so I was wondering if it was worth the effort to do the mod. A local mechanic who is apparently well versed in VTR issues said the mod was a waste of time. Anyone?

Re: TPS mod

It will work if the resistance of your TPS is out of spec. It will put your throttle back to the proper point on the bitmap for the computer. I did on my '99. the difference is worth the effort.

Re: TPS mod

ide say more than half of us have, and its practically no effort at all, and the results are great. used to pull from 3.5k or so and up, now i can do a roll on in lower rpm's better.
