shift lever alternitive

well I've been have a hell of a time finding a shift lever for my bike for a decent price after my last crash. what I've come up with I think works pretty well. what I used is a yzf 250 dirt bike lever from my local cycle gear (26.99) note. this will require using a gp shift pattern but I was using it anyway. so if your looking for a new lever it's something to consider, I'll try and get pics up this week and I'll be taking it to the track for some testing monday.

996 is on a distinguished road
I think you can also use the interceptor shifter for the same effect ?

I just did it for cost, the dirt bike levers are cheap and the chances of crashing racing are high so I was looking for something quick and cheap at that lever is the thing most likely to break other then that handle bar levers. you can do gp shift with the stock lever
