lowering my hawk

Hi guys I am a bit vertically challenged and am looking to lower my hawk. I have seen that if you lower the back you need to lower the front to keep the stability. I am not tippy toeing it but I am not flat footed. Is there an easy way to lower the shocks without doing major adjustments to the bike? If so can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

youll need lowering links, a shorter kick stand, and to pull the forks up in the triple(lower the front end)

honestly id say if your halfway decently planting both feet on the ground than leave it. youll massively change the geometry, and not in a good way, by lowering it. the bike already has a tendency to scrape the header in hard right hand corners. lower it and you can land yourself in a ditch.

unless its REALLY an issue then id leave it alone

I agree. Only do it if you really need/ want it.

Agree with the rest of scobeys post as well, except that if you lower it and stiffen the suspension you can avoid that muck-filled ditch.

I agree . If you lower it too much you will have clearance issue with the shock and swingarm.
