Does removing baffles increase performance?

I don't really like the sound of stock cans with the baffles removed but at this point I need a free flowing exhaust to match my intake and jetting but I don't want to spend $500+ for a set of cans.

Does the stock exhaust with the baffles removed flow as much as a typical 2" aftermarket system?

I'm looking for 108 on the dyno and if these won't cut it they have to go.
