Danmoto High mount exhaust?

Has anyone high mounted there Danmoto exhaust? I currently have Danmoto Carbon GP exhaust and just scored Jardine RT-1 high mount exhaust system used and am thinking about using the Jardine pipes and mounts to high mount my Danmoto exhaust. I havn't heard the Jardine in person before, but I think I like the way my cans sound better. Anyone done it yet?

Guess I might be the first to do it. Cool! As a note I received the Jardine exhaust today and wow can't believe how heavy these cans are compared to the Danmoto cans.

I had a set of carbon Jardines for a few years. They were very light, I just wasn't happy with their sound. Also didn't like the fact that I kept bumping the mids with my heals. Good luck and post some pics if ya can.

I have the RT-1's and they don't sounds too bad compared to the Danmoto's, but I'm getting to the point of going to low mounts because the same reason as wolverine, my big feet and sit on or close to the mid pipes, I melted the heel of my work boot to it.

On the topic of your question, I have yet to see anyone mount them with RT-1 mids, and one problem you will run into is that the RT-1 mid pipe outlet is larger than the Danmoto slip on inlet, so an adapter will be needed. I know because I tried to use the mid pipes to move my RT-1's to low mounts.

That's odd because I did a quick test fit yesterday when I got home and the Danmoto cans slip right onto the RT-1 mids.

Will do. Hoping to work on it tomorrow night. Nothing better than a Friday night in the garage playing with the bike and a few cold ones to keep me company!

With the temps you are getting up there you must have beer warmers to keep your beers from freezing!

LOL. yea even with the heat running in the garage I use a can cooler to keep the cold can off my hand! One advantage though is I don't need a fridge in the garage this time of year! HAHA

Wanted to update you on this project. Well worked on it last night and found out that it is not going to work. The pipes are super close to fitting the Danmoto cans, but off some and not going to work. It did look cool (sorry forgot to take a pic). So I decided to just mount the full Jardine system and fire up the bike. I think they actually sound better than what I thought. Going to have to wait until spring to take a ride and decide which system I am going to keep.

I have some Jardine high mount mid-pipes and my Dan-Moto mufflers are too loose on them, lol. I am going to have to get them flared a bit for a snug fit, so I haven't mounted them yet. I do like the sound of my Dan-Motos though, and the "Texalum" or whatever it's called has turned a nice golden bronze to match the stainless midpipe.
