Convert VTR into Monster

I know people have done this..But I am looking for some direction on how to convert my VTR into a Ducati Monster-like look. But better of course.
I plan to remove the fairing and have flat bars or slightly raised bars, but what will be needed for the headlight assembly and speedo/rev counter?
Any advice or suggestions are welcomed.
I will be leaving the original radiators in place.
Look forward to hearing some ideas.
Thanks.

I remember that bike, such a nice build!

Best naked VTR to ever exist. The cleanliness of that Viffer tank is the icing on the cake.

Hey Guys....Thanks very much for the great details. I am going to follow the path that Kai Ju took.
Since I have two VTR 1000s I think it would be fun to keep one original for the Track and One "Monster" for the street.
I do have a couple of questions. About the conversion of the oil cooler, if the VTR was running at the correct temperature, or lower, with the new radiator's location, why would you need to change the oil cooler?
Having the radiator under the seat is a great idea, which I wanted to do but did not think it was possible.
My next question is, what was the substitute fuel tank that was installed?
I am making a shopping list for Ebay. Will let you know how it goes.
Thanks again.

"'98-'01 VFR 800 fuel tank"

I think the oem oil cooler wasn't eye pleasing so what was done was way more visually pleasant. I'd have to read it all to find out what his thought process was.
