coerce fork brace

I was checking out maxmcdirect on ebay who's selling coerce braces, rearsets and countershaft sprocket covers when I noticed feedback from iamananonymous.
hey, iamanonymous, is that you? what do you think of the fork brace? how's it fit? noticeable difference? how about dealing with maxmcdirect?
I'm thinking of getting one of their fork braces and was just wondering.
the boss may let me spring for a fork brace if I back off on wanting an exhaust a little.
thanks for your input on this.

well, if I ever get around to doing the fork springs...had them almost a year now...sad
I'm gonna try something different. I bought a used set of SV650 springs, the spring rate is between stock 'Hawk and what RaceTech recommends for my weight if the bike were to see track use. Hope they work!

I bought one of those Coerce braces from those guys. Even though they're in Japan the part got to me in California 3 or 4 days. They're good E-Bayers. Have yet to install the brace.

I believe RCVTR/RC996 had a Coerce brace and liked it. I have a SRS brace (not quite as "purtty") but I really like how it firms up the front end. Everything just feels more solid, better feedback too. Two thumbs up, lol

cheers

IMO, a brace on the stock forks is money well worth spent if you push it in the twisties. If you just motor around (which is fun too), skip it.

So what do you think about trackdays worth it or not doing front end stuff soon. this could be a mod to go along with my springs allready installed and what I decide on valving.

It's not going to make your forks compliance any better or handle any faster, it's benefit is feel through more stiffness. It gave me more confidence and trust in the front end (racetech springs/valves).
