A little heat or valve grinding compound can go a long way. If you have a build up of pad material, get the valve grinding compound out and smear it on the disk. Get a few good stops in and clean it off. If you got them hot and left the pads clamped, get them hot again, and let them cool under slow cruising speed. Once had a friend warp rotors bad on a WRX, he took it to a track day and it straightened them right up. I would give it a shot.

I bought a sand blast gun for the air compressor and blasted the rotors front and rear, sanded the pads and all is well. Had a visible build up spot on our toyota (pulsing) and blasted it off-worked well.

most dealers can skim rotors for ya if you take them in i think, i know they do it for car ones anyway for sure

Threw the new-used rotors on today. Rode .5 mi in the 34 degree rain. Within seconds I knew they were perfect. No vibration, no problems at all. Got em off ebay. Seller is suncoastcycles. Now only have to wait 4 months to enjoy em.

I assume you're referring used honda rotors. Good feeling to have real brakes again, huh.

He's tried it all. bought/sold computer stuff. Bought bikes cheap then flipped them. Now he parts out salvage bikes. He's got quite the little shop going. Very impressive.

I take the pads off every winter and hand sand them, then clean the rotors with break cleaner and that always seems to help. This year I took a wire brush to the pads.
As Miguel Duhamel dad once said to him when he was complaining about his breaks on his race bike, "breaks just slow you down".
