Brake calipers

I know that you can you gsxr 6 piston calipers, but I can get a pair of f4i calipers for free..will they fit? would there be a benifit?

It's hard to search for "F4i." IIRC, the Search engine does not let you search for words that have three letters or less.

really? gayness won't even let you use it as f4i+brakes... I am pretty sure they work. someone around here has them

Yep. At least one SHF member has F4i calipers.

yeah i did the search for f4i calipers and it only searched for calipers

F4i, 929, 954, RC51, 600RR and maybe another bike I can't remember all use calipers that are externally identical (except for color).
They will bolt up to the Super Hawk, but they need a little material ground away to clear the bracket on the Hawk fork. It takes about 5 minutes to do this. I would suggest replacing the master cylinder, too, since calipers and master cylinders from the various Honda models have different piston sizes and are designed to work as a system.
