You don't need them. I just cut the hoses (quite short) and blocked them off with rad hose plugs (secured with small hose clamps). Works just dandy.

Or flip the valves over so that they don't open.. IIRC that works.

I just took the stock covers off, plugged the hole with epoxy and reinstalled them.

Stuck a cork in the inlet hole and replaced hose.
