AGAIN WITH THE BRAKES?
The F4i calipers are externally the same as 929, 954, 600RR and RC51 calipers and are a little bit smaller than the stock VTR items. The piston sizes are a little different. See the other thread for the piston and mc sizes for all the various models.
The VTR calipers aren't really that bad, they just didn't work that well in the VTR's application, but pretty good braking can be had with the right pads. I have ridden older CBR900RRs that used the same calipers and the braking was really, really good. I don't know the piston, mc and rotor sizes for the old 900RR's, but the brakes were plenty good.
