2014 Late Model VFR800 Single Sided Swingarm Conversion

Has anyone heard of someone performing a Single Side Swingarm change from a late model (2014-) VFR800? I have both in my shop now and I noticed that the swingarm from the VFR attaches to the engine case like the VTR. I'm not sure if the older VFRs attached that way also. I've always thought that the VTR1000F was the first to mount it like that. I weighed the entire VFR800 swingarm assembly and it was around 38 lbs.

This may not answer your question regarding the 2014 VFR swingarm but if you haven't seen it already may be of some use to you...
