For anyone who has purchased a yellow Skidmarx belly pan, how well does the color match your Hawk (assuming your Hawk is yellow). Any pictures?

 

No one, huh? OK, what about any other colors besides black? How's the match for red, blue, etc.? Anyone?

 

I remember a thread from someone commenting on a color match from a bellypan not to many months ago. Not sure if it was Skidmarx or not. Worth a try to search for it. If I remember right, the color match was yellow and it was way to light. My memory sometimes is off slightly, so don't take my word for it.

Have you contacted Skidmarx about thier color matching?

 

I may have mentioned this before, but when I talked with the Skidmarx representative, he indicated that the colors are not color matched with the bike at all. It's just different gel coat color options.

If you want a close match, you'd have to paint it.

 

Yea bzee that's what they told me too. Adds a substantial amout of $$$ to the price. Skidmarx belly pan is my favorite though

 

Thanks all. I remembered reading a comment about Skidmarx color match, but couldn't remember specifics. I tried searching quite a bit, but didn't turn up anything solid. Searching the web turned up surprisingly few images of the Skidmarx belly pan and most of those are black. Didn't turn up any comments about color match, either.

I haven't talked to Skidmarx yet, just wanted some input from the forum first. I'll give them a call.
