You dont like the tank bags that are out there? My buddy has one that fits the curve of his body and he gets to lie on it. He fills it with rain gear etc even if he doesn't need it. It's the cat's *** as it takes all the weight off your wrists.

Between what you can get in the pack and on the luggage rack you should be able you carry all you need with a Ventura Rack System . Then remove it when not on a trip .

I just bought the Ventura rack for my VTR and plan on installing a Givi E250 mounting plate to mount the Givi E360 top case that I had on my last bike.
Only thing that I think I will need to do is saw off the "upright" portion of the sport rack the leave a flat surface to mount the adapter plate to.
I will post pictures when I am done.
Anything has to look better than the Givi top case mounts.

whynot just use a duffel bag and Bungee coords? much cheaper nice and soft to lean against works awsome

because it doesn't lock, is not waterproof, and doesn't "click-off" in 2 seconds like a Givi case.

I just mounted and givi monokey rack.... I have the 46litre case.. It fits great even with my high mount pipes... on the negative side, takes a little any from look of bike, and slightly covers brake light
