Sharkskinz Upper for Street
Sharkskinz Upper for Street
Hey Guys, my fairings are pretty much shot (cracked and hacked). Instead of coming up with the $$$ to replace them, I am thinking of going with the Skarkskinz one piece street fairing and adapter. Has anyone been through this?
I ran Skarkskinz on my track bikes and always loved the one-piece fairings over the multiple piece factory set ups. Just need to find the '99 red paint.
So, any experience on running the Skarkskinz front-side fairing on the street? Was it easy to adapt? Happy with the results?
Thanks

its made of fiberglass and the quality is sufficient. It does not feel as solid as the OEM plastic obviously because it is thinner. That being said, it fits just fine and street riding or racetrack is fine. The great thing about it is should you drop the bike, repair is much easier with resin glass and bondon.
BTW how bad are your plastics?..I am interested in getting them as I will hack off most of it for my streetfighter project. Please let me know and photo would be great calitoz@gmail
good luck

I have this on my bike. I like it alot. easy fairing removal, very tough, and decent fit. I would recomend it. I would post pics but I'm at work. there should be some pics of my bike in the members rides section.
