Arrow Repsol Firestorm Fairings

Hi guy's

i know a lot of people have been slagging off the ebay fairings from china

just wanted to show them fitted, price to me in England was 325 quid including import duty.

i have some colour matched vinyl (orange) to do the tank, and there is also a black lower which i haven't put on, thinking of using and fixing the powerbronze item i have, also need to vinyl wrap the under-tray in the Red so it flows with the rear.

Front end on bike is a full 954 set up, told the seller and he made up a 954 fender for me which they dont list no hassle and no extra cost

Fit and finish is great only had to adjust two mounting holes buy a few mm these was the lower fairing mounts has to set the back a few mm

Here it is for now, will update again when the tank is covered and has its stripes on. will at some point get the wheels done also.

I talked to a local shop awhile back and he said the china fairings for a cbr1k he did were a nightmare. But I recently emailed a guy on ebay who was selling a superhawk with the china fairings and he had nothing but good things to say about them. You seem to have a good experience with them as well so maybe they're not so bad. Looks great!

Cheers, im not saying all sellers are going to be great, but the one i used was imo, fast delivery too, and able to communicate well in English re swapping the fender for a different models

Cant wait to get the tank vinyl done and the black wing too, will have it done by next weekend

This is the second fairing related thing ive had from Hong Kong the first being a Seat cowl for the 954 which was fantastic and a true colour match to the original

I know a few people who have the chinese ebay fairings for various bikes. They do look good, and fit seems to be ok given the price. The real difference though is if you go down the chinese parts are brittle and will shatter into a hundred pieces. Whereas a quality piece like Shark Skins or Woodcraft have enough flexibility to deform in a crash, usually only resulting in scratches during a crash.

both times this has been down the road i had to replace fairings as they broke, not sure of the mould for these but there is more flex and bend than stock,

here it is before any crashes

rebuilding here with 954 front after it was downed

Jay, And Seb are so right. 3 months ago I was riding Hwy221 /Spruce Pine. Watched a CBR with China crystal fairings -lowside and resemblance of a glass shattering.
I will spent the money, and get fairings worth putting on a machine...

If used for their intended purpose of fairing/sticker/advertisement holder the China fairings do a good job. It's when you add additional duties such as hockey puck where they fail.

102dals is an unknown quantity at this point
They look good, and they "hold the wind off" right? For this price you could buy 2 if/when you crash.

On the plus side you can keep your knees on the tank as often as possible. How hard could it be to move the grafics, bloke?

Good to see some UK hooligans representing the VTR in the Londondeveonshireberryburg area.

Go on then....

The bike looks awesome!

The fairings I see on ebay don't have the full lower fairing... Did you buy that separately?

Hey man, bike looks awesome.
I'm currently sourcing cbr929/954 parts for my usd conversion.
Can you give me any tips for the conversion???
Also, what brand is your lower fairing?
