Replacement shifter

Does anyone here know what other model shifters would work on the SH? I, uh, suddenly find myself in need of one...

Just did an EBay search under “vtr1000 shifter” and this came up...otherwise the only other one I’d know of would be to see if Mr. Daugherty on here still has any leftovers from the last run he made of his own design 👍🏻

Sad to hear about what happened to you and the bike. I found this on ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/1999-Honda-...AAAOSwuhBdgUYv

and this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-VTR10...0AAOSwm79dC2zc

Sent you a PM, shoot me an email. I believe I still have both a spare shifter and a left rearset (can't tell if the rearset is damaged or not from the pic).

I suppose I should clarify: I want to get a folding shift lever to replace this one. I was wondering what other models might work.

How similar are the shift levers from the RC51 to the superhawks?

Have you had a look at the Tyga website? They have lots of individual shift parts that MAY fit.

What do you know about that folding lever?
Was it made to fit a Superhawk, or did someone install a lever designed for another bike?

I believe it was for a CBR500. I originally had it on my HawkGT. I had to use spacers, but I got it to work. I was part of a rearset unit. I suppose I can make something work.
