Newbie's New Tail

Hi to all on the forum.

Just joined after 5 years of ownership.
Have been a member of the AU forum for some time now and have a build thread there that might be of interest to you.
Mostly cosmetic changes . . . .

Should be finished in the next week or so depending on whether something major goes wrong.

Very nicely done Cheeky. Some talented lads down there in Oz.Theres a bloke from the UK who did an R1 rear end swap with what I presume will be a similar exhaust setup to what you are planning.Take a look, see what you think..

Thanks for the feedback guys . . . . is raining today, so I loose a day for paint :-(
But will get the surface as close to perfect as I can in readiness for nice weather.

Also my Card Reader is busted so I cannot upload any of my new images.
Will post a note when I have that sorted out.

final result looks good. It seems like you might risk a burn if you aren't careful with how you sit.. But that could just be the perspective.

Now what will you do to make the front end look unique?

The pipes are wrapped but still noticeably warm when stopped with feet down.
Otherwise no worries - was riding yesterday in 37 degrees C (99 F) with no real issues.

The front end has had me stumped for a bit, but I have some ideas forming at the moment . . . .

Just a quick update . . . . have put custom decals on the exhaust cans.
Take a look at the last page of the build thread.
The guy who printed them is still surprised they haven't burned to a crisp, but so far they are going great and I have a few spares.
