Mirror Extenders on my SuperChicken (56k beware!)
Bought these on eBay for $49 ($68 after shipping from Germany). Thought you might be interested to see them...

I have yet to test them on the road, but will be doing that later tonight. I can't imagine it will be much easier to lane-share through traffic, but I guess we'll see...

I also have extenders on my superhawk. (the previous owner had put them on, so I am not sure if they are like yours, from Germany, or not.)
I had previously bought extenders from my CBR600 F4i from www.rrmotorsport.com and was pretty happy with them as well.
