Yes, i do my own polishing. Plus I have a good hookup here in town for the complicated stuff. My rims are chromed. Definitely a good winter project.

No, I trailer the bike down behind my Jeep. I saw a 91 FZR600 for 1500$ somewhere in Mi with 31k miles in really good condition. But I imagine you want a 500 for the wifey instead of a 600.

Re: MI,in the house

I looked at an fzr600 it was a 95 but beat out I like the new style of the gs and you can find them for 3000 with next to zero miles my first bike was an fzr600 what a terd but it was fast for a 17 year old man was that a long time ago

Why don't you get her an ex500. Much better than a GS.

I think the ex 250 would be a great bike for her, light, cheap and can cruise confortably at highways speeds. Plus you could probably sell it for the same price you bought it for.

Re: MI,in the house

Are you going to be down here on Apr 1st or the weekend after?

I rode deals gap on friday and it was in very good shape. The weather here has been fantastic mid to high 70's. If you want to do a real fun ride, when leaving deals gap take a left on HWY 72 right next to PitStop 129 and follow it to the end. It will bring you out at the intersection of 411 and 72. Take a left on 411 about two miles down take a left onto HWY 360 out of Vonore (if you passed BP then you went to far). Follow 360 to the end which ends in Tellico Plains. Go left and your at the beginning of Cherohala on the TN side, go right and take a break in Tellico. At end of Cherohala take left at HWY129 and head to the Gap. Once there Rinse and repeat.

Let me know what weekend you'll be down and I'll try and break away for a ride.
