right after the recent dilemma with the crap mini's I bought from flee bay

ive decided to fit stock ones again but noticed the 2001 and after models had a much better sharper looking indicator than that bulbous ****** on mine

will the 2001 model fit the 2000 model?

im sure the fairings haven't changed but is the wiring any different?

any help would be mega as im fuming now with the indicator's I received.

 

It looks like it will fit, and unless they changed the inner fairing design on the 2001+ Firestorms, it will. We weren't so lucky on this side of the pond... we had the bulbous style turn signals till the end. Hell, they even had that style on through the 2008 CBR1000RR!

What were the other indicators that you bought?

 

Yes, they fit... No the wiring is the same, but still not...

For whatever reason they decided to re-decorate and change some colors... Not a big deal... They work just the same with odd colored wiring...

Also I think this was the year they swapped the bullet connectors for a stupid and expensive plug... If soo, cut the plug and crimp on bullet connectors and all is well...
