Re: double bubble

zero gravity makes a double bubble for the superhawk check denniskirk.com under windshields. This may be a rumor but I heard if the bike sits out in the sun to long the light going through the double bubble will frie the guage cluster??

Re: double bubble

I have a zero gravity double bubble shield and they are really nice. much easier to get down behind. the fit is pretty good too. and as far as that rumor goes, it sounds like crap to me. my bike is outside all season long, and only covered up when I think it's gonna rain, and it hasn't done anything to my gauge cluster. anyway, here's a profile pic.

Re: double bubble

I got an aireblade or something like that from fly n cycle on ebay. Fit isn't the best but I do love the look and protection. Bike doesn't look the same anymore but the shield does.

I bought my ZG DB from eBay from an outlet store - apparently there are "blemished" items from the factory that they try to unload on the 'net. You may want to try looking there; I got mine for much less than what stores were asking. The "blemish" wasn't noticeable (they said a small scratch near a mounting hole - I didn't see it).

I have a Zero G DB screen as well, its in like smoke...and it looks bad ***. No quality issues and fit is good. No fading and it has been in the sun.

Re: double bubble

I have a zero gravity windscreen but I don't think mine is a double. It's upswept at the top. Very easy to tuck behind. the wind tends to go up over my head versus hitting me in the chest like the stock screen. I kept it but won't use it.

Re: double bubble

I have a Pyramid dark smoke double bubble on mine and I'm very satisfied!

Ok, she is pretty expensive around 120$ US but I think she worth any of these penny! If you are tall, you will really apreciate the height of this screen.

Compared to a Zero Gravity DB, the Pyramid is almost 3/4" taller. She is also more thick and more smoke, maybe this is because she is also more... expensive!

Pyramid or ZeroG, IMO double bubble is a very good investment is you are doing a lot of long run on highway!

Cheers

I have ordered three screens from them for my bike and my buddies. We couldn't find the "blemish" on any of them. I highly suggest them since you can get a ZG Double Bouble for less than 60 bucks (I think it was $56 for mine shipped). I will be ordering another one for my SH since the last want broke in to pieces on a fence post.
