Carbonmania

10 months after my accident and a painful recovery period the parts and pieces are coming in and the bike should be ready to roll out again soon.
I was waiting for this one to come in, here it is....

Still waiting for a quote for a CF tank, a complete CF fairing will be on order soon....

Nice! Where from? I recommend putting rubber washers on both sides of the mounting points since the material is much thinner.

As i am living in Spain, i have a good contact with Mario Nava...he sent me that one and the CF fairing will be from him too.
I opted for this solution, because i want to keep the passenger option....but we are discussing a CF R1 seat conversion with passenger option. So this part might be for sale as soon we figured all out.....

For the gas tank i am in contact with the guys from pro-carbon ( www.pro-carbon.com )....they produce what you need and offer good pricing. I have 2 options...getting a full CF tank or the standard tank coated with CF just for the looks. Still waiting for the quote though.

cheers

Ah, good old Mario! How's he been? He still has an account on here. He should stop in now and again and at least offer up an updated price list. Give him some crap for me, if you will.

...Correction, I thought he was a member here. Okay, then. Give him hell for not joining up!

I wish the PO of my superhawk had known about rubber washers or somthing. Both the mounting points on my tail end cracked and broke. I got the guys in the machine shop at work to make me two small spring steel tabs to go between the mounting point and the plastic. some epoxy and its good as new now.
