Backrest for Corbin

I want to get a back rest for my corbin seat in order to give my girl piece of mind when we are riding two up. I love her but I'm not paying $260 for a new Corbin backrest.

Their are some cheaper knockoffs on eby advertised as fiting any seat that accepts a 5/8" square stem that is 4½" long.

Check the corbin site but thier is no techinical info on the backrest and I doubt they will help me figure out if a knock off will fit. Anyone ever try one of this third party backrests?

I have one I'll part with~

I have a 99 VTR with a complete Corbin setup including the backrest. My wife only used it 3 or 4 times max (NO BS) Its been sitting on the shelf in the original plastic when not being used. I've had it for 3 years now and she dont ride anymore (on the SH).

New baby + no sitter = solo bike again (plus we have a plush cruiser now too)

It is the carbon look leather with Honda red trim cord- Looks cool on my set-up IMO. She enjoyed the rest- security for the 1 wheel V2 thrust... I will part with it for 1/2 the price of the new one if interested.

PM me for details / pictures if int.
