Anyone tried these ebay mirrors w/ blinker?

Was looking up LED lights, and ran across these. The ad says that the mounting screws are adjustable from 1.18" (30mm) to 2.36" (60mm).

I've been half temped to try these for a while. I was always hoping someone else would try first. I'm not sure about the "acrylic" mirror. Ours is glass, right? What is an acrylic one going to be like...

Ours are about 30mm apart.. So They should bolt up.. as for their positioning, I have no clue.

I have been tempted to try them, and at that price it's probably worth the attempt. They are coming from Hong Kong though, so be aware of that.

It would be nice if they retained the OEM shape... I love the look of the VTR mirrors. Those are too angular and IMO would clash with the VTR's lines.

I have them. I used our stock bases and swapped the mirrors from left to right to make them set like i wanted. I have had no trouble at all with them. not the best shot of them.

Thanks for the pic man, i really appreciate it. While i do like the contours of the stock mirrors, i dont think they look bad at all on your bike! I might just have to buy a set! I dig the white and blue on your bike! what is the thingy sticking up above your left muffler?

Meh, I tried some similar ones on my GSXR and found that you can't see anything out of them due to them being considerably smaller than most stock mirrors.
Those do look to me larger than the ones i have though.

I have 'em too, and also flipped 'em between sides. I used the base they came with, but plan on switching bases eventually. Mine have some wicked shake to 'em, probably due to the plastic arm. But overall, I'm very happy with them.

Good eye Mike. You must've looked at the pic during the day and not during your "Random, late night, beer induced thought" time. LOL

It is mounts for saddle bags. home made. Found a web page, guy had a yellow hawk that he had built a set for. I called him and asked lots of questions and he didn't mind if i copied them. they mount to the passenger peg holes, just have to use a little longer bolt. if you like i can get better pics.

Hi Steve,
Here is a photo of the completed job, including extending the mirrors out another inch from stock. I cut and added plumber's epoxy to the original stalks, so it isn't a bolt-on mod.

Really nice job.
I've got an extra cracked mirror that I think I'll practice on. If I like the result I'll give it a shot. It would be a new sensation to finally see behind me

I just ordered a set of those Ebay mirrors. If anyone is looking to buy them, they are universal. The auctions I saw that said SuperHawk had several bids, go to sellers other items and pick one with no bids.

I did the same, flipped em upside down and swapped sides. They looked stupid the other way
They are actually decent. but my bike is a P.O.S. so they fit the bike pretty well.
I put a sharkskins fairing on and they were a simple mod instead of putting signals in the fairing.
If you are interested in a pic, let me know.
