Anyone tried the Fairing kits on ebay?

I was wondering if anyone has tried these kits, they seem to be from Hong Kong. I recently picked up a 99 Superhawk and the fairings have some scratches and I would like to replace them. And for 500 shipped for an entire bolt on kit thats already painted with graphics seems like a pretty good deal. I was wondering if these are worth it or pure crap. Here's some links to a few

Thanks guys

All three of those kits are for the RC 51. So they wouldn't be "bolt-on".

Nope

All three of the kits that you have linked to are for the RC51, and will not bolt onto your SuperHawk. As far as I know, that company does not make a any kits for our bikes.

Aside from all three set being for the wrong model, I've had one of those cheap POS kits on a 2007 GSXR750. They are COMPLETE JUNK. Holes don't line up, Mounting points break off if you look at them funny, and the paint sucks. They've also been on a couple bike that I've purchased, both were CBR600RR's, both were junk.

If you factor in the non-refundable shipping (around $230 on those auctions), that's a pretty bad deal.

also check under the description line item number 3 it says you supply us with air brush or decal we work with you to make bike custom.. or something close to that effect. it wont let me copy and paste. but it sounds like they are not totally finished. with out some user input to them.

If you are only planning to have a garage queen that never leaves they are perfect. But stuff doesn't line up and the heat resistance if pitiful. Be prepared to get creative with colored tape to fill voids and strengthen weak points. Oh and those are for VTR's aka RVT1000R's, not VTR1000F's. Plus you still have to paint the tank to match unless your bike has a plastic cover over the tank like CBR's have.
