Ordered one a couple of weeks ago and only just turned up.
A quick connect to the battery for a test and its loud, cant wait to wire it up.
Was looking for a decent place to mount...?
Hawk you said you used stock location... i couldnt work out a way on how to mount it there without it getting in the way when turning yokes.
Have any pics mate on how you mounted it?
Cheers.

Cheers mate. Had a play today and managed to make up a bracket that i can use to bolt to oil cooler mount into frame. Just couldnt see any other way.
Just worried that going over a large bump in the road or after a hard landing from a wheelie dont want to crack me mud guard.

I just added a low-tone fiam disk horn 180 degrees from the OE horn, no relay required in 9 years. Horns are never as loud as rated. See this link, the Stebels were unreliable and all not as loud as advertised...

Well i managed to fit mine the other week.
Had to fabricate a bracket and mounted just under the oil cooler and used the oil cooler mount holes into frame.
The stebel is sure loud, they have a large failure rate so will see how it goes.
The reason for relays when fitting larger horns is that the oem wiring wont be able to handle the amps that larger aftermarket horns require.
In time oem horn switch and wiring could go into melt down.

I've fitted a pair of aftermarket airhorns, and they're real loud.
I've fitted mine under the seat so far, planning to mount them up front, inside the fairing opposite the indicators. Just need to extend the wiring and sort the mount for them.
My boss had a scooter with "Tarzan's" scream for the horn, it turned heads and gave lots of laughs
