New life for a '98 Hawk

Hey all, some of you know the story behind this bike, some dont. I bought it two years ago when it came into a dealership I was working at for some repairs (previous owner lowsided it) anyways, my intention was to rebuild her, make it look pretty and sell it for a few buck more than I paid for it.

Even the best laid plans dont turn out as expected, I ended up riding the bike in a cobbled together state for upwards of a year and a half, just enjoying it, however 3 months ago I bought a new toy ('02 RC51) and have now decided that I really should fix the hawk and pay off some of the loan for the new bike.

anyways, here's some pics as she was when I got her, as she sits tonight and some paint scheme idea's.

as she sat, almost roadworthy after I managed to scrounge some parts up.

as she sits today after dissasembly. With her purdy new white shoes.

tucked into bed with her big sisters waiting for paint to hit the fairings.

Anyways, I'm going to go with the Candy Blue Color, White wheels, White decals (blk outlines) and I just did a quick photoshop of this other 'hawk to see what a black frame would look like, tell me what you think, I might do it...

The black frame is nice. But I definitely like the black fork legs much more.

What happened to the RC's lowers?

Lowers are off the RC because I was doing an oil change and will be putting new chain & sprockets on it tomorow... As far as the black frame/fork legs im now not really wanting to pull the bike that far apart... I think I'll just detail her up real nice and call it good.

vitter is an unknown quantity at this point
can you do the frame a little darker? It looks kinda grey in that photoshop.
I think it would look better black, although you should photoshop with the blue bike, it would be easier to see than with a yellow bike.
