New Levers and Lines

Diggin my new Pazzo shorty levers and Venhill brake/clutch lines. Especially like the fit and finish of the banjo bolt and fittings. Scrapped my Galfers and went with these. I love how the socket head bolt looks and the extra hose fittings allow for really smooth routing.

he he. "paint scheme". That's just a blue tank from an 03 on my yellow 99. Added bits of blue and yellow vinyl and VIOLA, a paint scheme. Best viewed from about 10 feet away, but still not bad. Adding an extra litre of petrol (is that what call it up there?) was all I cared about. Good for those long rides. Not alot of gas stations in Nevada. And yes, I'd say the combination of the levers and the lines make for a really great feel. Looking to do the fork springs next and the rear rotor is warped so maybe I'll upgrade that too.

is petrol diesel? if so, here in canada we call it "fuel" or "diesel"

call it six, call it half a dozen. doesn't matter until the gas boy fills your diesel car or truck with gasoline! hahahahahahaha

Sweet colors on that bike .
Those levers are pretty trick. I'd love to be able to spring for those, but now all I can seem to spend money on is more gear!
I have changed my clutch fluid w/ no problems, but I'm wondering if you had any issues bleeding the system like others have posted about?

Are your other lines for sale?

Thanks man, I was thinking it was kinda like Wolverine colors, at least the comic book version, not the black leather movie one. My little cheat when bleeding the lines is to crack open the fitting right at the master cylinder. It's messy so you need to cover it with rags, but use the fitting just like a bleeder valve: crack it open after pumping up the MC until the air bubbles out then close it real quick. This removes way more air, much faster than using the bleeder valve at the slave cylinder. If your using the valve only, it takes longer, and can seem like it's not working.

I'm actually starting a little mail order business with the levers and lines, plus alot of other stuff. They're more affordable than you may think. Alot cheaper than the Galfers and the quality is superior. Right now just waiting for the updated 2010 pricing from the OEMs before I post up some discounts for forum members. Should have it before the week is out. Regarding my old Galfer lines....I tossed them. For one they were badly discolored from several summers of Vegas heat, plus they were all bent and contorted from the akward routing required from the fixed fittings. The swivel fittings on the Venhill lines avoid all kinks and other routing problems.

Discounts or not, I was planning on asking where you got the lines from. That is one of the planned upgrades for the fork swap this winter.

+1 I've been waiting to get new lines too. Seems there are a number of manufactures out there and I never had a good feeling about who was best, who offered the best bang for the buck, etc.
when you are up and running, I'll likely be in line
